Samuel Dorison currently serves as Chief Strategy & Innovation Officer at The Trevor Project, the leading suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ young people. His areas of focus include innovation, quality assurance, scalability, partnerships, and team development. During his four years as an executive at Trevor, Sam’s results include leading the crisis services program when it expanded to offer Digital crisis services 24/7 for the first time in the organization’s 20-year history and founding Trevor’s research program that publishes in preeminent journals and conducts the most comprehensive surveys on LGBTQ youth mental health. He also led the development of Trevor’s transformative partnership with Google, which has yielded two innovative artificial intelligence products on risk assessment and conversation simulation. Prior to joining Trevor, Sam was an Engagement Manager in the Washington, DC, office of McKinsey & Company. There, he advised private sector clients on technology investment, and public and social sector clients on growth strategy. Sam graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Princeton University’s School of Public and International Affairs.
