Carrie Bergen is a Senior Behavioral Health Management Consultant within the Total Health Management team at Mercer, and is a licensed clinical social worker. She has 20 years of experience in the mental health field including direct therapy, clinical management, and account executive work in both public and private sectors. Carrie is a leader in strategic program design, implementation and management of behavioral health programs, including EAP, mental health and substance use services and point solutions that are integrated within an organization’s benefit ecosystem. Her focus is to design cost-effective and manageable behavioral health solutions for employers that are clinically effective, accessible and easy to navigate for the member. Carrie graduated from DePaul University with a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in psychology, and a Master of Social Work degree from Loyola University. Carrie has experience with EAPs, behavioral health benefits design, education, presenting, and publishing research.
