Executive Vice President Digital Therapeutics, Orexo
In his current role as Executive Vice President Digital Therapeutics, Dennis leads Orexo’s digital therapeutics business, initially through the US commercialization of three digital therapies, deprexis (major depressive disorder and chronic depression), vorvida (problematic drinking), and modia (opioid use disorder) recently licensed from GAIA AG. Dennis also contributes to Orexo’s business development activities, particularly in the search for complementary digital therapeutics opportunities. Dennis brings 25+ years of driving patient and commercial successes in Life Sciences, both as an industry and professional services executive across multiple brands and therapeutic areas. Prior to joining Orexo in December of 2019, Dennis was Chief Digital Officer for Havas Health &You and CEO of Havas Health Plus, where he was responsible for global digital and innovation capability development and partnerships, along with operational P&L accountability for Havas Health Plus. Prior to joining Havas Health & You in February of 2017, Dennis ran the Accenture Digital Life Sciences Analytics Practice and served as the Janssen Pharmaceuticals client account lead as a Managing Director. Prior to Accenture, Dennis spent 20 years at Sanofi in various expanding sales and marketing roles including leading the US Diabetes Business Unit for Sanofi, a $6B+ P&L covering a novel franchise of therapeutics, devices, and services for diabetes care as a member of the US executive committee. In addition, Dennis ran a centralized team in North America focused on innovation and new customer channels where he led the development of an industry leading social media engagement strategy along with the development of many new commercial approaches for Sanofi. Prior to that Dennis led Lovenox in the US, a $2B injectable CV therapy and began his marketing experience in ACS and Stroke on Plavix. His interests and expertise are in digital therapeutics, analytics, population health, patient services, community engagement, social media, and digital marketing.
