Speaker's Profile

Laurence is a Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of AvoMD, a digital health company creating the building blocks for clinical decision support. In this role, he supports the company’s sales and marketing efforts in addition to leading finance, HR, and legal activities. In 2020, Laurence graduated from Columbia Business School, where he studied entrepreneurship and healthcare. Previously, Laurence worked on the investment team at Vector Capital, a private equity firm focused on software investments, where he was a Board Observer for two of the firms’ portfolio companies. Laurence received a BS in Economics at The Wharton School and a BA in International Studies and Hispanic Studies from the University of Pennsylvania.
