Eric Branning is an experienced cross-functional leader and relationship builder who is focused on solving complex healthcare problems through technology and collaborative partnerships. He is passionate about healthcare quality and generational diversity in the workforce. Eric is a Senior Program Manager in Behavioral Health at Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina (BCBSNC). He manages a portfolio of start-up companies and works to increase and expand access to services for members with substance use disorders and mental health issues with the goal of changing payment models towards value-based reimbursement and reducing the total cost of care. He is a Board Member for the BCBSNC Young Professional employee network. Previously, he was an Enterprise Improvement Advisor in Safety and Medical Operations at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), where he partnered with a team of professionals to provide internal consulting services throughout the health system to promote best practices, decrease revenue inefficiencies, and increase patient experience. He was Co-Founder and President of the CHOP Young Professional Network.
Eric earned his undergraduate and graduate degrees in Psychology from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. He earned his MBA in Strategy from the Fox School of Business at Temple University, where he served as the student commencement speaker for the 100th anniversary graduating class.
