Nicoletta B. Tessler, Psy.D., M.B.A., is the Regional Vice President of Behavioral Health Services for HCA East Florida Division. Her strategic and tactical leadership expands across fourteen facilities, and four counties.
Dr. Tessler is responsible for implementing transformational strategy across a complex and high-volume institution and managing the operational and financial demands of a large division. In addition, she centers her efforts on the intersection between behavioral health systems of care and technology firms, developing a thriving space where there is an opportunity to ideate, incubate, and accelerate solutions to what translates to improved patient outcomes. Dr. Tessler has been involved in multiple developmental partnerships with technology companies to employ robotics technology, mobile platforms, and digital health solutions to achieve a more efficient, standardized, technological-based process that can significantly reduce hospitalization occurrences and drive net operating income to position behavioral healthcare for long-term future success. The end goal is to solve identified pain points, build out new and increase existing competitive advantages and leverage know-how to create a new revenue stream by commercialized internal and external innovations.
Dr. Tessler earned her undergraduate degree in psychology from Lynn University, her master’s in psychology from Pepperdine University, her doctorate in psychology from the University of Denver, and her executive MBA in health sector management and policy from the University of Miami.
Dr. Tessler serves on the Board of Trustees for the National Association of Psychiatric Health Systems.
