Sam Brasch brings over 15 years of experience working with healthcare companies to Kaiser Permanente Ventures. Prior to joining the group in 2011, he was an Executive-in- Residence and Vice President with Frazier Healthcare Ventures. At Frazier, Sam focused on venture and growth equity stage investments in the medical device and healthcare services sectors. Earlier in his career, Sam was in global management roles at Medtronic, Inc. in the US and Europe as well as with venture-backed startups in the medical device and HCIT fields.
He began his career as a management consultant with APM/CSC Healthcare, working primarily with hospital, physician group, and health care payor clients. Sam holds a B.A. in Public Policy from Stanford University and an MBA in Health Care Management from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
