Julia Kyle

Director, Behavioral Health Strategy and Planning, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan

As the Director of Behavioral Health Strategy & Planning, Julia is responsible for designing and implementing the enterprise-wide behavioral health strategy, which aims to ensure all members have access to best-in-class, whole person care for mental health and substance use disorders. Julia has more than 18 years of experience working in behavioral health clinical, administrative and policy work. Prior to coming to Blue Cross, she worked as a therapist specializing in integrated care, bipolar and personality disorders, before holding leadership roles at Michigan Medicine, the Detroit Wayne Integrated Health Network, and Trinity Health. She has a passion for individuals and families impacted by mental illness and substance use disorders and the development of programs and policies that promote inclusion and recovery.

Julia received her master's degree in social work from the University of Michigan and holds an MBA from the George Washington University.
