FAQs for the 2025 Behavioral Health Tech Conference

1. What is the Behavioral Health Tech conference all about?

The 2025 Behavioral Health Tech (BHT2025) conference is the largest conference focused on expanding access to mental health, substance use and autism & I/DD care through technology, health equity, and innovation. The event convenes health plans, employers, behavioral health providers, digital health companies, investors, and policy makers to connect for the purposes of advancing access to behavioral healthcare for all.

2. When and where is the event?

The in-person conference will take place on November 11-13th, 2025 at the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina in San Diego, California. Plan to fly in on November 10th (pre-event activities begin by 2:00 PM) and fly out after the final session ending at 12:30 PM on November 13th.

3. Can I still attend virtually? Or will I have access to the recordings after the event?

While our main event takes place in-person, you can still watch recordings of the event afterwards. If you couldn’t make last year's event, you can access the full library here.

4. When does registration open?

Registration launched on March 3rd, 2025. You can register here!

5. When do speaker applications open?

Our Call For Speakers was open from February 18th to April 18th, 2025. Our editorial committee prioritized new speakers who have not previously spoken at Behavioral Health Tech events.

6. When are speakers notified of whether they are selected, to inform whether or not to buy a ticket separately?


All applicants of our Call For Speaker application were notified of their application status on May 16th, 2025.

7. How much does it cost to attend?

Standard tickets will cost $1,998–$2,998 depending on the time of year. Be sure to register early for the best price! Tickets include the cost of all meals during the conference: breakfasts, break refreshments, lunches and evening receptions.  

In line with our mission to make mental health, substance use and I/DD services and information accessible for all, we are continuing to grant donation-based access to our on-demand session recordings after the event. Thanks to several generous sponsors including California Health Care Foundation and Consulting For Human Services, we have scholarships available on a first-come, first-serve basis here early-stage startups, non-profits, government leaders, students and more. Members of the press and government are eligible to attend BHT2025 complimentary.

8. Do you have a non-profit partner again this year?

Yes! We will be announcing our 2025 Behavioral Health Tech Non-Profit Partner soon.

9. When will the agenda be available for the event?

Our team is hard at work curating an exceptional lineup of speakers for the 2025 Behavioral Health Tech conference. The Preliminary Agenda will be released in early August, and the Full Agenda will be released in October.

10. When will the online platform open up for networking before the event?

The online platform and mobile app will go live a few weeks before the conference begins. All registrants will be notified via email.

11. Can I cancel my registration?

All conference pass registrations are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your pass to a colleague with the prior approval of the event organizers. To request a transfer, please contact hello@behavioralhealthtech.com no later than October 10th, 2025 with the new attendee’s details. Pass transfers are subject to review and the event organizers reserve the right to deny transfer requests at their discretion. No transfers will be allowed on-site or after the stated deadline. By completing your registration, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.

No passes can be retroactively refunded for sponsor registrations.

Earn up to 13 continuing education (CE) hours

In partnership with PESI, our event offered CE credits for mental health professionals who attend. For those unable to make the trip to Arizona, the CE credits were attainable virtually via PESI's streaming platform during the live event.
