My inspiration comes from countless interactions with clients, family and friends who have overcome significant mental health challenges. Witnessing their strength and resilience inspires me to continue pushing the boundaries of what is possible in behavioral health care. Additionally, co-founder of Revive Therapeutic Services and my sister, Abby, inspires me with her expertise and dedication to providing exceptional care.

One thing I would like to see changed in mental or behavioral health care is the accessibility of treatment. Mental health disorders can impact anyone, regardless of age, gender, or socioeconomic status. Yet, there is often a shortage of mental health care providers, and insurance coverage can be insufficient. Bridging this gap would allow for more people to access crucial treatment and support, leading to better outcomes and healthier communities.

My superpower is empathy. As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I have the ability to understand and connect with individuals in a way that allows for effective treatment and support. Empathy allows me to see past the symptoms of a condition and address the root cause of the issue. By creating a safe and judgement-free environment, my patients feel heard, understood, and empowered to take charge of their mental health.
