Dawn Gillam, LCSW, serves as Chief Administrative Officer of Strategy and Executive Leader of Behavioral Health for Southern California Permanente Medical Group (SCPMG), part of Kaiser Permanente Southern California.As Executive Leader of Behavioral Health, Dawn provides strategic leadership for a behavioral health network of over 18,000 providers, partnering with physician and operational leaders to expand access, advance high-quality, value-based care, and drive innovation for Kaiser Permanente members across Southern California.Throughout her career at Kaiser Permanente, Dawn has held leadership roles spanning mental health, addiction medicine, primary care, medical specialities, access, quality, and many other clinical and operational areas, bringing a broad systems perspective to transforming care delivery and improving patient outcomes.Prior to joining Kaiser Permanente, Dawn worked as a community based therapist and clinical supervisor for county-contracted mental health programs serving children, families, and communities with limited access to behavioral health services throughout Los Angeles County. This experience continues to shape her commitment to equitable, high-quality behavioral health care.
