Jaimon Jose is Senior Director of Engineering at CharmHealth, where he leads product engineering for the company's cloud-based ambulatory EHR, practice management, and patient engagement suite. His mandate is to morph that EHR into an AI-driven platform that measurably improves the caregiver experience — fewer clicks, less documentation burden, more attention on the patient. Recent work includes CharmHealth's Model Context Protocol server, which gives AI applications a secure, standardized interface to EHR data so clinical summarization, chart review, and context-aware documentation happen inside existing clinical workflows rather than alongside them. With compliance also in his remit, that work is designed against HIPAA, ONC certification, and real interoperability obligations from the first design review rather than retrofitted afterward. Before CharmHealth, Jaimon spent two decades in identity and access management as technical director and architect for a 150-person IAM organization, then as VP of DevOps and Security at Koopid, co-founder of PicoNets, and a staff engineer at Dialpad — a background that shapes his view of AI in medicine as much an access-control and trust problem as a modeling one. He writes and speaks regularly on AI ethics and the practical governance of AI in clinical settings.
