Nans Rivat is a Vice President at PACE Healthcare Capital, a Chicago-based venture capital firm investing in digital health. He maintains close engagement with portfolio companies on financial performance, growth strategy, and path to profitability, while also leading ongoing communication with institutional and individual investors.He has been an investor and board observer in leading mental health companies, including Backpack Healthcare, a provider of pediatric and school-based mental health services focused on expanding access to care through community and institutional partnerships, and Headlight, a technology-enabled behavioral health platform delivering evidence-based therapy and psychiatry services through a hybrid care model. In these roles, he supports leadership teams on growth strategy, operational scaling, and capital planning.Nans is also regularly involved in pitch competitions, where he evaluates emerging mental health startups and innovation, maintaining close visibility on the next generation of founders and solutions shaping the sector.In parallel, he is actively engaged in the broader mental health ecosystem. He is the host of “The Mental Health Coffee Break,” a podcast exploring leaders who are pushing boundaries across technology, leadership, science, and regulation. He also participates in industry events and conferences across the United States, contributing to discussions on innovation, access to care, and the evolving behavioral health landscape.Prior to joining PACE, Nans worked at Goldman Sachs in London. Originally from France and now based in Chicago, he brings an international perspective and a strong network within the healthcare and venture capital ecosystem.
