Pam Jenkins is Chief Executive Officer of Shatterproof and an ex officio member of its Board of Directors, which she joined in 2021. She became CEO in 2025, bringing decades of experience in public health and strategic communications.Before Shatterproof, Pam served as Chief Public Health Officer and Chief Public Affairs Officer at a global communications agency, where she advised public and private sector organizations on health behavior change, policy, and patient advocacy. She is best known for leading award-winning health campaigns that break through the clutter of health messaging.Her work spans the development of the red dress as a symbol of women and heart disease for National Institutes for Health (NIH) and American Heart Association, HIV/AIDS prevention for the CDC, alcohol prevention initiatives for NIAAA, and community programs to reduce alcohol-related injuries among college students. Much of her career has focused on improving health outcomes for vulnerable populations in the U.S. and globally.She holds a bachelor's degree in political science and history from the University of Colorado, serves on its College of Arts and Sciences Dean's Advisory Board, and studied at Harvard University. Pam lives outside Washington, D.C., with her husband and chocolate labrador.
