Description:

Across the country, teen and young adult mental health is in crisis. While access to care has expanded in recent years, the quality of that care has not kept pace. Relying on traditional therapy models alone—often fragmented, outdated, and under-equipped to address the complex needs of this population—is no longer sufficient. It’s time for a new approach. In this session, Meru Health joins leaders from BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina to explore how innovative, evidence-based care models are reshaping the future of mental health. We’ll discuss how both health plans are leading the way in expanding access to high-quality, scalable solutions and the challenges they still face. BCBS of NC and BCBS of SC will also share insights from its outreach to their communities where teen and young adult mental health emerged as a top priority. Join us to learn how these organizations are reimagining care to meet the urgent needs of today’s teens and young adults—and tomorrow’s future.
